About me

I’m Mariana — a counsellor, educator, and mum who believes in the power of gentle, honest conversations and small steps forward.

I’ve always been drawn to the emotional world of children and the ups and downs of parenting, and I feel grateful to support families as they grow and reconnect.

Originally from Brazil, I offer support in both English and Portuguese. My multicultural background helps me connect with people in a way that’s inclusive, open, and grounded in respect.

Outside of work, I enjoy a good TV series, getting creative with crafts, and spending time with my family.

My approach to Counselling

I offer a space that feels safe, supportive, and genuine - somewhere you or your child can show up just as you are. I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all methods. Instead, I take time to get to know you, listen carefully, and work alongside you at a pace that feels right.

As we talk, play, or explore together, we’ll gently uncover what’s happening beneath the surface and find practical, meaningful strategies that fit your needs and everyday life.

I bring a calm, thoughtful, and creative presence to my sessions, often using tailored activities and hands-on tools to meet clients where they are - especially when working with children.

My approach is shaped by my background in education, psychology, and lived experience, and guided by a deep respect for your story, your pace, and your strengths.
